The Manor is the perfect base to discover all that the Isle of Wight has to offer.

The small village of Shalfleet is located in the heart of the Island’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with its stunning coastal scenery, the area offers a varied choice for walkers, cyclists and outdoor pursuits enthusiasts. Great for families and couples, there is plenty to see and do, with the Manor just on the edge of a wonderful part of the coast known as Newtown Estuary. The estuary has been designated as a National Nature Reserve by Natural England, one of only 200 in England. Just a few miles away lies the Compton Beach, recognised as one of the world’s best beaches and a haven for fossil hunters and surfers. The famous West Wight Alpacas are a couple of minutes’ walk away. One of the best pubs on the Island, The New Inn is just a short stroll away and Tapnell Farm with its restaurant, café, outdoor activities centre and indoor play barn is a short drive away.
